Farm and River Day
For Young Adults (20s and 30s)
Sunday, August 17, 2008
Have you ever wanted to bite into a tomato fresh off the vine, experience a day in the life of a farmer or float your way down the idyllic Housatonic River?
Join a group of adventurous young adults in their 20s and 30s for this one-day program, where you’ll learn how to harvest organic peppers and salad greens and make live-culture, lacto-fermented pickles. Spend the morning in the fields with an inspiring community of young Jewish farmers, and refresh yourself in the river during the afternoon. Lunch Included!
