Bring your community to Adamah!
Each year, dozens of groups come to Adamah for an afternoon, weekend or weeklong Adamah experience. Whether you’re looking to do a few hours of community service, lending a hand on our farm, want to bring your CITs for a team building week, or your Hebrew High School students for a weekend of outdoor learning, Adamah welcomes you.
To discuss how we might work with you to design a custom program, contact Sarah Chandler by email or at (860) 824-3003 x4.
Some of the custom programs we’ve done over the years include:
Sukkot Harvest with the Ramaz Upper School
Students harvested in the field and brought food to a local soup kitchen for Sukkot.
Green Your Camp
Counselors from the Berkshire Taconic Camp spent two days with us learning about how we practice sustainability at Isabella Freedman, and how they can green their own campus.
Pickle Day at the JCC in Manhattan’s Pearl River Day Camp
Adamah staff traveled to Pearl River for a full day of pickle-making demonstrations with over 400 campers.
Service Learning on the Farm
Many groups who come to Isabella Freedman choose to spend 2 – 3 hours with us in the field as part of their program. AJWS groups have helped us mulch our orchard and synagogue groups have lent a hand down in the field.
Farm Tours
We offer a wide range of programs that can enhance your group’s experience at Isabella Freedman, including the tours of our Barnyard, Field, Orchard, Green Campus and more. Check out our full list of our program offerings.
