Meet the Staff

Ellen Carton NEW Executive Director

Ellen Carton Ellen brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to her new position as Executive Director. Over the past 10 years, she managed an independent consulting practice providing strategic planning, fundraising, board development, retreat facilitation and coaching to a diverse array of social change grassroots organizations and foundations. She is a yoga instructor with a special emphasis on teaching seniors and people with health challenges. Previously Ms. Carton has served as Executive Director of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and the National Abortion Rights Action Leagues (NYS NARAL).
